§ Mr. Robertson[holding answer 18 July 1996]: The conditions placed on grants and loans of public money to owners and occupiers of land vary according to the nature of the scheme under which the assistance is provided. The conditions are specified in the explanatory literature for each relevant schemes, and, where appropriate, in declarations and undertaking set out in application and claim forms. They may also be set out in the legislation under which the scheme operates.
