§ Mr. NorrisA research project to define the possible economic effects of the draft PPG 13 was published in April 1996; copies of the report have been placed in the Library. The report contains some projections of overall transport impacts, but does not specifically address the future rate of road traffic growth. The Government have commissioned further research into the implementation of PPG 13, and into future land-use patterns, taking account of planning policy guidance and road congestion.
