§ Mr. WattsIn Great Britain, between March 1974 and April 1979, 14 stations were closed and 31 opened or reopened, giving a net gain of 17 stations. Between May 1979 and December 1995, 63 stations were closed and 233 opened or reopened, giving a net gain of 170 stations. Figures for closures, openings and reopenings of stations in Northern Ireland between March 1974 and April 1979, and between May 1979 and December 1995, would be available only at disproportionate cost.
