The Secretary of State for Transport has asked me to reply to your recent Question about running cost budgets for the Coastguard Agency in each of the last five years.The Coastguard Agency was formed on 1 April 1994 and the budgets since then are as follows:
- 1994–95: £24,882
- 1995–96: £25,596.
