To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what is his estimate of the number of jobs that will be lost in the Arfan borough area as a direct benefit of the reorganisation of local government. [9388]

I have made no such estimate. Any reduction in staffing will depend on decisions taken by the new councils which replace those based on the Arfon area.
