§ Mr. Andrew MitchellThe Department of Social Security currently maintains web sites for all its main agencies as part of the Government's centre for information systems' Government information service—address: HTTP://www.open.gov.uk. General background information on the Department's work and details of the Department's press releases are regularly updated. Internet is not currently being used to provide further information or answer queries from individuals. The Contributions Agency is conducting an evaluation project on the potential of Internet for communicating with its customers.
