The Civil Aviation Authority, in referring questions of charging at the BAA plc airports of Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted to the Monopolies and Mergers Commission, has asked the commission to consider, among other things, the implications for charges of the loss of intra-EU duty- and tax-free revenue.
