Mr. Morgan

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what consultations he has had with the chairman of the National Rivers Authority Wales region and Dwr Cymru Welsh Water in relation to reassessment of the water quality standard intended for the lake impounded under the Cardiff bay barrage scheme. [7969]

None. Provisions for relevant water quality standards are contained in the Cardiff Bay Barrage Act 1993.

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales (1) what consultations he has had with the chairman of the Cardiff Bay development corporation concerning reductions in the proposed capital schemes to be completed under the Cardiff bay barrage outfall accommodation works; [7967]

(2) what consultations he has had with the chairman of the Cardiff Bay development corporation concerning funding for capital works to meet the water quality standards set out in the Cardiff Bay Barrage Act 1993 and its side agreements; and if he will make a statement; [7970]

(3) what consultations he has had with the chairman of the Cardiff Bay development corporation concerning the change in the maximum number of sewage spills in a typical year into the Rivers Taff and Ely and the area of the impounded lake behind the Cardiff bay barrage and its implications for water quality and water sports; and if he will make a statement. [7968]
