11. Mr. Soley

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will make a statement on the peace process in Northern Ireland. [15030]

Sir Patrick Mayhew

I refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave earlier today to the hon. Members for Neath (Mr. Hain) and for Liverpool, West Derby (Mr. Wareing).

13. Mrs. Bridget Prentice

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1) what recent meetings he has had with the Irish Deputy Prime Minister to discuss the peace process; [15032]

(2) what recent meetings he has had with Irish Ministers regarding the peace initiative. [15042]

Sir Patrick Mayhew

Mr. Spring and I met at a two-part meeting of the Anglo-Irish intergovernmental conference which met initially in London on 1 February and concluded in Dublin on 7 February. Amongst other things we conducted an extensive review of all recent developments in the peace process.

23. Mr. Barnes

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what representations he has received concerning the Mitchell report; and if he will make a statement. [15043]

Sir John Wheeler

The Government have received a number of written and oral representations since the publication of the international body's report; these are being considered. The Government have welcomed and accepted the report, and intend to discuss its recommendations with the Northern Ireland parties.

18. Mr. Gordon Prentice

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what representations he has received on the role of an elected body in the Northern Ireland peace process. [15038]

Sir Patrick Mayhew

I have received views on this proposal from a wide range of sources.
