To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will make a statement on the application of policy appraisal and fair treatment guidelines to the funding of the action for community employment scheme. [15029]

Policy appraisal and fair treatment guidelines have been applied to decisions regarding the funding of the action for community employment programme. The effect of the reduction in funding should not have a differential impact on the overall balance of the programme to PAFT target groups.
