§ Mr. Hague[holding answer 15 February 1996]Mr. Glyn Davies was appointed as a board member of the Development Board for Rural Wales on 8 July 1986. He was subsequently appointed chairman of the DBRW on 1 April 1989 and at the same time was appointed as a board member of the Wales tourist board and an ex officio board member of the Welsh Development Agency. Mr. Davies resigned from all three appointments on 12 May 1994. Payments made to Mr. Davies in respect of these appointments are listed in the following table:
