§ Mr. David DavisThere are no immediate plans for Ministers to meet Antarctic treaty signatories to discuss this issue. The Antarctic treaty secretariat will be the subject of discussion at official level at the forthcoming Antarctic treaty consultative meeting in the Netherlands on 29 April to 10 May.

§ Mr. DavisThe siting of the Antarctic treaty secretariat was raised by the Argentine Foreign Minster during bilateral meetings on 15 December 1995 and on 30 January 1996. He was informed that our position remained unchanged.
