§ Mr. Gwilym JonesThe number of training places for occupational therapy and physiotherapy being contracted for by the NHS in Wales has increased from an intake of 25 in 1993–94 to 57 in 1996–97 for occupational therapists. The number of training places has also increased for physiotherapy from an intake of 36 in 1993–94 to 69 in 1996–97. This increased level of training will be maintained in 1997–98.
