asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they intend to ratify Protocol No. 9 to the European Convention on Human Rights so as to make it easier for complainants to bring cases against the United Kingdom before the European Court of Human Rights.

Her Majesty's Government have no intention at present to ratify Protocol 9.
