§ Mr. Jonathan EvansThe report commissioned by my Department into the safety of mountain bikes made a number of recommendations aimed at better matching the performance of mountain bikes with user's expectations and intended use. My officials will shortly be discussing the detailed findings of the completed research with the bicycle industry.
