Mr. Tim Smith

To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment which local education authorities have, during the last five years, successfully sought a change in age of admission to their secondary schools from 12-plus to 11-plus; how many introduced the change in phases and how many all at once; and what were the capital costs in each case.
