§ Mr. WattsAlthough, as now, there will be no specific requirement after privatisation for Railtrack to consult before selling or leasing its land or other property, the 579W rigorous closure procedures set out in the Railways Act 1993 will continue to apply in respect of any proposal by Railtrack to close a part of its operational passenger network or any railway facility that it operates.
