§ Mr. Roger EvansThe provision of guidance to adjudication officers and the publication of such guidance are matters for the chief adjudication officer. His office, Central Adjudication Services, issued letter HEO(AO)5/94 on 12 May 1994 giving guidance to adjudication officers on the effect of the House of Lords judgment in Mallinson. Letter HEO(AO)13/94 issued on 27 October 1994 gave some clarification of the earlier letter. I have made arrangements for copies of these letters to be provided to the hon. Member.
