§ Mr. JackThe two largest individual contracts that have been signed in that period are for the new national insurance recording system and the Midland Metro light rail project. In addition, the contract to supply a new train service on the Northern line was signed some six and a half months ago. In the next three months, contracts are expected to be signed for, among others, the first tranche of design, build, finance, operate roads, two privately financed prisons and two hospital projects.
In addition to this, numerous small PFI deals have been signed at local level primarily in health sectors and information technology.
