1Annual Housing Investment Programme (HIP1) returns.

2Available for letting immediately or after minor repairs.

3Annual Housing Corporation HAR10/1 returns. The figures are not grossed up to take account of the small number of associations which did not submit a return.

The information which is available on private sector vacant dwellings, other than those of housing associations, does not identify separately those which are for rent.
