§ Mr. NeedhamMy right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade announced on 22 May 1995,Official Report, columns 597–99 a package of additional support measures for exporters including trade fairs, inward and outward missions and business links export services. Additional staff will be deployed on the DTI market desks and in our overseas posts and in September an additional export promoter from the private sector will join those already working in the developing CIS markets. These additional resources will help companies take advantage, including through new sector specific initiatives, of the increasing opportunities in these markets.
