HC Deb 23 May 1995 vol 260 cc575-6W
Mr. McFall

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland, pursuant to his answer of 16 May,Official Report, columns 207–208, on what date (a) his predecessor as Minister with responsibility for industry and (b) officials in his Department were first informed of Dunbartonshire Enterprise's interest in the acquisition of Drumkinnon bay from the Drumkinnon Development Company. [25265]

Mr. Kynoch

[holding answer 22 May 1995]: I understand that, during his tenure as a Minister, my predecessor was not advised of Dunbartonshire Enterprise's interest in acquiring Drumkinnon bay. Officials of the Scottish Office Industry Department first became aware of that interest in early December 1994, although the matter was not formally referred to the Department.
