HC Deb 22 May 1995 vol 260 c479W
Mr. McMaster

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will visit the residential centre operated by the Scottish Council for Spastics at Wallace court in Elderslie to assess the value of such initiatives. [24134]

Lord James Douglas-Hamilton

My right hon. Friend has no plans to visit the centre. However, the Government fully recognise the contribution made by the council in meeting the care needs of people with cerebral palsy and other disabled people with similar needs.
