HC Deb 22 May 1995 vol 260 c446W
Mr. William Ross

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland whether he will now visit Craigakulliar quarry. [24584]

Mr. Moss

I have no plans to do so at present.

Mr. William Ross

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland when the commissioner who heard the inquiry into the planning application to use the Craigakulliar quarry as a dump completed his report; when the other commissioners finished their consideration of that report; when they decided to overturn the recommendations of the commissioner who held the inquiry; and when their decision was(a) first communicated to the officers and town clerk of Coleraine borough council and (b) published. [24588]

Mr. Moss

This is a matter for the Planning Appeals Commission. I have asked the chief commissioner to write to the hon. Gentleman.
