Social Services on issues relating to drug and solvent misuse, issued for consultation in March 1995 a draft policy statement on drug misuse. Following the consultation period, which ends on 31 May, the committee will submit a final draft to the Government for consideration as the basis of a policy framework for tackling drug misuse in Northern Ireland. The draft policy statement is designed to be consistent with the "Tackling Drugs Together" White Paper.
