§ Mr. NorrisTen per cent. of coaches at the roadside in 1993–94 and 9.2 per cent. in 1992–93 were found to have prohibitable defects.
Of coaches checked at operators' premises as part of a maintenance assessment, 8.7 per cent. were found to have prohibitable defects in 1993–94 as opposed to 8.5 per cent. in the previous year.
