§ Mr. ForthThe Department's terms and conditions handbook requires staff to declare any potential conflicts of interest to their senior management so that appropriate action can be considered. The handbook is made available to all staff. Records of declarations of potential conflicts are not held centrally on civil servants. No cases involving special advisers have arisen in the last five years.
