§ Mrs. BrowningThe fiche d'impact with the Commission proposal for the minced meat directive in 1990 did not address industry costs. Despite requests for such information, none was produced. However, during the lengthy negotiations on this directive, the Government pressed consistently and largely successfully for requirements imposing unnecessary burdens on industry to be removed.
