§ Mr. BowisWe are not yet able to give a complete list of those authorities which have failed to satisfy the 85 per cent. condition on the special transitional grant for 1993–94. This depends on the resolution of reports raised on the audited returns of a number of local authorities by district auditors. Inquiries are being pursued with the district auditors and the local authorities as appropriate.
