§ Mr. AncramA total of £48.05 million has been allocated in the 1995–96 financial year for major capital works in the education service, and all new building work under the education reform programme. No additional resources were made available in the 1994 public expenditure round. This total is directly related to construction work and 211 capital projects are involved. Construction work has commenced on 111 projects and 33 projects are out to tender.
