567WThe state radio network, Radio Republic Indonesia, broadcasts from the studios re-equipped under the aid and trade provision project. A typical day's programmes consists of national news broadcasts, educational and cultural programmes and local events. These programmes are broadcast nationally on short and medium wave, and on FM in the Jakarta area.
