§ Mr. HeseltineThe aerospace industry accounted for 4 per cent. of United Kingdom manufacturing turnover in 1992. My Department has commissioned two studies on the diffusion of aerospace technology and skills to other sectors. Copies of these reports will be placed in the Libraries of the House. In addition officials are studying the profitability of the United Kingdom aerospace industry.
