HC Deb 06 June 1995 vol 261 cc170-1W
Mr. McMaster

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will describe the structure of the Procurator Fiscal Service in(a) Scotland, (b) Strathclyde and (c) Paisley; if he will list the names and posts of the Paisley procurator fiscal's office to third-tier level or below; and how long each named member of staff has been employed in that office. [24059]

Lord James Douglas-Hamilton

[holding answer 23 May 1995]: The structure of the Procurator Fiscal Service is described in the 1991 to 1994 annual reports of the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service. At the time of publication copies of the reports were sent to all Members of Parliament for Scottish constituencies, and copies have been placed in the Library of the House.

My noble and learned Friend the Lord Advocate will write to the hon. Member with the other information requested.
