§ Mr. RedwoodThe Department received the following number of complaints alleging anti-competitive behaviour by local authorities in Wales under the terms of the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980 and Local Government Act 1988:

Seven notices were served under section 13 of the Local Government Act 1988 and one notice under section 19A of the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980. Four directions were given under section 14 of the Local Government Act 1988 and one direction was given under section 19B of the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980.
