§ Mr. Michael ForsythThe Home Department's "Guide to Fire Precautions in Existing Places of Entertainment and Like Premises", issued to fire authorities in 1990, included guidance on occupancy capacity for licensed premises. These guidelines are also applicable to premises which do not require a public entertainment licence. We have no plans to issue further guidance on this subject.
