§ Mr. SackvilleInformation on the number of emergency calls to ambulance services is published annually in a booklet entitled "Patient Transport Services, Summary information from form KA34", copies of which are available in the Library. Since 1992–93, this has been recorded as the total number of emergency calls resulting in an ambulance arriving at the scene of an incident, that is, discounting abortive calls.
Information on the number of finished consultant episodes in the speciality of accident and emergency medicine is published annually in "Ordinary and day case admissions for England", copies of which are available in the Library.
