To ask the Secretary of State for Health (1) what estimates have been made as to the extra financial costs incurred by an average family unit as a result of a child having eczema; [35929]

(2) what studies his Department has undertaken to assess the disruption caused to an average family where one child has eczema. [35930]

To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many complaints have been received about poor quality gloves causing skin reactions between(a) 1990 to 1994 and (b) 1994–95. [35931]

The number of adverse incidents notified to the Medical Devices Agency from 1990 to 1994 were five and for 1994–95 three.

To ask the Secretary of State for Health (1) what estimates his Department has made as to the number of surgeons' hours lost as a result of skin diseases contracted by the use of poor quality rubber gloves; [35800]

(2) what estimates his Department has made as to the treatment costs of treating a child with eczema. [35928]
