§ Sir John WheelerPublic expenditure by the Department of Finance and Personnel, on the basis of the latest available figures, increased by some 24 per cent. between 1993–94 and 1994–95. Both these items are borne by DFP in relation to redundancies in Northern Ireland Departments and the Northern Office.
