To ask the Secretary of State for Health what percentage of women aged under 20 years become pregnant in each district health authority area, in the latest year for which figures are available.

The number of conceptions and the rate per 1,000 women aged 15 to 19 in each district health authority area in 1991, the latest year for which figures are available, were published in Office of Population Censuses and Surveys monitor FMI 94/1, "Conceptions in England and Wales, 1991: residents of regional and district health authority areas." Copies of this monitor are in the Library.
