Mr. Denham

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) what estimate he has made of the income of the Energy Saving Trust in each year from 1994–95 to the year 2000, and for each year, the percentage of this income to be derived from each identifiable source;

(2) what estimate he has made of the percentage of the income of the Energy Saving Trust to be derived from levies on consumers' fuel bills in each year from 1994–95 levies on consumers' fuel bills in each year from 1994–95 to the year 2000;

(3) what estimate he has made of the expenditure of the Energy Saving Trust in each year from 1994–95 till the year 2000.

The Energy Saving Trust is an independent company. The detailed financial implications of its contribution to the Government's climate change programme must properly be a matter for the trust.
