§ Mr. MacleanThere are 449 exclusion orders extant under part IV of the 1986 Act. I understand from the Football Association that there have been 5,939 orders, including those that are extant, since the Act came into force. Information concerning the duration of such orders could he gathered only at disproportionate cost. The duration of such orders is at the discretion of the courts, but the Act provides that this cannot be for less than a period of three months.
