HC Deb 06 February 1995 vol 254 c58W
Mr. Denham

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport how many railway stations in the United Kingdom are inaccessible to wheelchair users.

Mr. Watts

The facilities available for disabled passengers vary from place to place. The leaflet "British Rail and Disabled Travellers" is designed to help disabled passengers plan their rail journeys and gives contact details for British Rail managers who will provide passengers with information about their nearest suitably designed and equipped station. A copy of this leaflet is available in the House Library.
