To ask the Secretary of State for Health what plans he has to investigate services for disabled children in Cornwall, with particular reference to St. Christopher's house. [5848]

Mr. Bowis

St. Christopher's house provides respite care services for children with learning disabilities. The responsibilities for providing such services rests with Cornwall county council. The Department of Health has no plans to investigate these services in Cornwall.
