HC Deb 18 December 1995 vol 268 cc1003-4W
Dr. Godman

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland how much money was paid by way of the criminal justice services fund to organisations in(a) Inverclyde, (b) Strathclyde and (c) Scotland in each of the past three years; what is the amount budgeted for this fund in 1996–97; and if he will make a statement. [4631]

Lord James Douglas-Hamilton

The funding made available by the Scottish Office under the 100 per cent. funding arrangements for the provision of criminal justice social work services in the financial years 1993–94 to 1995–96 in Strathclyde region and Scotland is set out in the table. Allocations by the Scottish Office are not broken down below regional level, and it is therefore not possible to provide figures for Inverclyde. Allocations to new councils for the 1996–97 financial year have not yet been made.
