§ Mr. BaldryWe have advocated the leasing of milk quota across member state frontiers as a means of allowing quota to migrate to those parts of the Community, like the United Kingdom, where milk can be produced most efficiently. Our EC partners and the Commission do not share our enthusiasm for reforming this aspect of the EC quota regulations, but we will continue to press the case whenever the opportunity arises.
