§ Mr. ForthThe Department has funded several initiatives, including projects piloting multi-media technologies, which help to indicate the educational potential of information super-highways. The UK Education Departments will shortly publish a consultation52W paper which will explore the use of broadband communications in education and encourage the development of broadband pilot projects in all sectors of education.
