§ Mr. Robin SquireThe Department for Eduction spent £67,849 on establishing the Teacher Training Agency. This figure does not include the time spent by officials working on what is now the Education Act 1994. In addition, the Department made available £1,472,151 to the agency in the 1994–95 financial year, which covered1196W further setting up costs as well as the agency's administration.
