§ Mr. BoswellOn 31 March, the Council of Education Ministers adopted a resolution on improving and diversifying language learning and teaching within the education systems on the European Union, and reached political agreement to the Council's common position on the Commission proposal to make 1996 the European Year of Lifelong Education and Training.
The Council of Youth Ministers, held on the same day, adopted a resolution on co-operation in the field of youth information and studies concerning youth.
