§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonInformation on salaries paid to college principals at the time of incorporation on 1 April 1993 is not held centrally; further education college audited accounts for 1993–94 did not require to include information about the salaries of principals. With effect from the 1994–95 financial year, further education college boards of management will be required to indicate in a consistent manner in their annual accounts the total emoluments of principals. The audited accounts, which are public documents, are due to be submitted to the Scottish Office Education Department by 30 September 1995.
