What was the quantity of heroin and cocaine seized by HM Customs and Excise in the period 1st January 1994 to 30th September 1994; what was its estimated street value; and what were the comparable figures for 1980, 1984, 1988 and 1990.

1 The figures cited for 1980 and 1983 are for the first six months
only, are taken from answers to a previous question and were supplied from working records. The current drugs statistical data base is operative from 1986 and it is not possible to provide figures for the first nine months of 1980, 1983 nor 1984 us the data cannot be validated and the figures are therefore regarded as unreliable.
